Bell 407 Helicopter A & P Mechanic
Job Description:
We are seeking an individual with prior experience on Bell Helicopter 407 models of helicopters to provide mechanical services. 2 or more years experience on this helicopter model is required. Applicants with factory training on the Bell 407 model will be given preferential consideration.
Job Core Responsibilities:
- Technical and Communication Skills: The successful candidate must have excellent technical and communication skills and be adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer use is essential.
- Prioritization and Organization: The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and organize workflow effectively. This includes performing repairs and maintenance in accordance with applicable FAA regulations and manufacturer instructions.
- Shop Maintenance: The candidate must maintain the shop environment, tools, and records to a high-quality standard.
- Project Communication: The mechanic will confer with supervisors to keep them informed of status of projects. All required paperwork must be completed accurately and thoroughly, and forwarded to the appropriate department for processing.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The candidate must be able to use common sense and problem-solving skills when performing repairs, inspections and maintenance for optimum efficiency.
Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $66,550 – $104,000
