Helicopter Hydraulic Technician – Experienced – Full Time, Fillmore, CA

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Hydraulic Technician to join our team in Fillmore, CA. This role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and overhaul of hydraulic components in accordance with FAA, OEM, and RSI SMS Program quality standards.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $50,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
- This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt under applicable wage and hour laws.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and overhaul hydraulic systems and components (pumps, actuators, servos, valves, landing gear systems).
- Perform teardown, cleaning, testing, and reassembly of hydraulic components.
- Maintain part traceability in compliance with FAA regulations and OEM instructions.
- Research and document FAA Airworthiness Directives, Manufacturer Service Bulletins, and other technical data.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds aircraft workmanship standards.
- Properly use and maintain shop equipment, tools, and technical publications.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, OEMs, and other technicians to resolve technical issues and prioritize workloads.
- Accurately document work performed per FAA, OEM, and RSI requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience as a Hydraulic Technician specializing in helicopter components is required.
- Ability to provide and maintain a complete set of personal tools appropriate for the role.
- Employment is contingent upon participation in the FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
